Craft and Craic

Yesterday's Craft & Craic saw Lindsey Grieve and her colleague June explain the Dundee Tapestries by bringing along three of the panels. Lindsey and June explained the process from initially volunteering to work on the tapestry to the completion of one of them. The group all got an opportunity to add some stitches to the panel - a great honour. A wonderful afternoon, fascinating and inspiring. Next week we plan to start the afternoon by making our own name badges (mainly because we cannot remember each other's names). The remainder of the afternoon will be our own knitting, sewing etc and a blether.
