St Ayles Skiffs

RTYC's first Skiff "Brochty" was built in the Spring and Summer of 2014 and launched on 31st August 2014. Our second skiff "Arthur Nicoll" was built in the Winter and Spring of 2015 and launched on 19th April 2015. 

It was Commodore Sandy Bremner's dad, Alaistair, who paid for the first wo St Ayles skiff building kits. At the age of 96, Alaistair commissioned Brochty and was delighted to get out in the boat himself. 

Fiona Shepherd was launched in 2024. With 3 handcrafted Skiffs available our membership has grown steadily.
