Training & Refresher Sessions

You may have noticed the club's calendar here in Sailing Club Manager contains a packed training programme for the coming weeks and months. The first of the winter evening sessions took place in Glenogil House on Tuesday 16th January and proved very popular with around 30 members attending. The sessions are aimed at newer members of the club's sailing and rowing fraternity as well as those who just want a refresher. Over the course of about 90 minutes Sandy Bremner gave an informative & interesting presentation about weather and tides in general, supplemented with specific information and advice relating to our own River Tay area. After the talk there was time for coffee, tea, cakes and socialising. The format worked well and the evening wrapped up shortly after 9pm. 

These sessions are scheduled to continue every Tuesday evening at 7pm in the weeks ahead with the last one being on 5th March. All members are welcome and you can certainly learn something. Check the SCM calendar for future dates and topics and be sure to book your place.
