Please ensure your boat is entered for the series and that you have confirmed which volunteer slots you’ve set against this series as per section 19 of the SIs

All boats taking part in a series are required to register for volunteer slots. Double-handers should confirm their nominated crew for the series and the duty slot the crew has undertaken. Helms will have to undertake both slots if unable to nominate a crew for their slot.

If a boat then only does then does one race or day in a series they may elect to carry forward their volunteer slot to the following series entry.

Qualifying duties are events from any of the spring, autumn, winter and evening points, Race Days 1,2 and 3, and the Horseshoe Buoy plus Thursday night social sailing and Saturday morning My Clubs so keen racers don’t have to miss out on any racing!! Slots volunteered for can be for later in the year so sailors could do all their duties in one series should that work better for them.

Junior members are also expected to volunteer for a duty slot if they’re taking part in racing. If they can’t then a parent should cover their duty, either helping in the race box or as a rib crew on the water.

Any junior members under 16 entering normal club events require a responsible adult to be on-site at all times. These are not supervised events so when booking an individual ticket for a junior member please include the name of the responsible adult.
