Winter evening sessions - 2026 » Using a VHF radio

An informal session to provide some basic knowledge on the use of the VHF marine radio especially the handheld radio relevant to local participation in water sports particularly sailing, rowing and powerboating. Participants wishing to obtain an operator licence will be required to attend the full one day course and pass the examination.
Attendance cost of £2 to cover refreshments. Register online via SCM so we know how many cakes to get in but pay in cash on the night.
