RTYC/BFB Jubilee Curling Evening

Looking for something to do on a cold winters evening.

Missing a bit of competition, all your maintenance done?

Why not try curling?

RTYC in association with Curl Dundee have organised a come and try session at Dundee Ice Rink on Tuesday 10 February at 19:30 hours. This is exclusive for RTYC members. (There will be a short introduction and warm up & be on the ice by 20:00.)

Please support this event which is an introduction to a great sport, we would be happy to have new curlers and anyone who wants to return to the sport. The on ice session will consist of a coaching session to introduce to the ice & the techniques of throwing the stone and sweeping, something Dads Army are very experienced at, followed by a short competition. Sandy B., our current Commodore, assures me there is a trophy to be won.

We have space for 16 participants and we have a number of members who are regular curlers who will be there to support. In terms of equipment, dress warm with loose clothing and bring a clean pair of trainers for on the ice.

Please note there will be a charge of £10 for the event, payable on the evening.
