Power Boat Instructor Course in two parts
The Powerboat Instructor Skills Assessment (PISA) is a one-day assessment that needs to be passed before being allowed to take part in the actual PBI course. There isn't a period between the PISA and the course to allow for any action points required so make sure you're happy with that. NB if you fail the PISA and so therefore can't do the PBI course no refund can be given becasue we can't fill the space. It's recommended that some skills checks are done before the PISA to ensure it goes well!! NB - to do these two courses at Edinburgh Marine Academy would cost £99 + £429 = £528!!!
Required :- PISA pass and valid in-date First Aid Certificate

Experience :-
Five seasons experience of powerboating preferably in a range of craft OR one season for those who use powerboats as an integral part of their occupation.
Qualified to teach:-
Up to and including Powerboat Level 2 under the supervision of the Principal or Chief Instructor. If you hold the Safety Boat Certificate, you may also teach the RYA Safety Boat Course.
