Refresher Training for Safety Boat - One Day RTYC Course
One-day Rib refresher/upskilling course. Must already hold a PB2 certificate
It is aimed at either those who passed their PB2 recently and want to gain more experience and further skills, or those who perhaps haven't driven a rib for a while and just want to get behind the wheel again to practice.
Will look at consolidating skills learnt on PB2 and then adding coming alongside dinghies, trying towing etc. It's not a safety boat course becasue it's too cold for folk being in the water being rescued.
Aiming to use Navionics on a tablet to allow some passage planning with bells and whistles and then carry out the passage plan as the finale.
Mark laying
Up to 3 ribs with 7 students so plenty of driving time!
