The Parallel 140/150 Years

Our Jubilee 2025 programme is a celebration of the history and heritage of RTYC and BFB since their respective formations in 1875 and 1885. In parallel, in the outside world momentous events have taken place during the past 150 years. This one hour illustrated talk aims to cover many of these historic events, from Custer's Last Stand in 1876, through wars, a moon landing and all the way up to the present day with its smartphones, globalisation  and artificial intelligence. Join us for a light-hearted whistlestop trip down memory lane and showing how the world we now live in today has evolved over the years since our club first began. 

It's sure to be interesting and entertaining.
