Dart TT7 and Scottish Dart 18 Championships
RTYC is delighted to be again set to host a Dart 18 T.T. on 1st/2nd August, the event staged in conjunction with the 2026 Scottish Dart 18 Championships. The Club has a fleet of 20 Darts, with a regular turnout of 6-10 boats enjoying competitive weekly racing. All the action takes place in front of our Clubhouse on the picturesque Tay Estuary, with tidal flows often playing a significant part in the racing tactics!
Our state of the art Glenogil House Club Headquarters are stunning and conveniently located adjacent to the beach and dinghy park/car park. Motorhome spaces are available in the car park with electric hook-ups. Our historical Beach Clubhouse offers superb spectating opportunity and will cater with hot filled rolls, tasty snacks and refreshments during the day.
There are many local hotels and B&Bs in Broughty Ferry and the surrounding area. For those travelling from further afield and wishing to extend their stay in Bonnie Scotland, Tayside, Fife and Angus have numerous tourist attractions to offer, whether it be the V&A, a visit to
Glamis Castle, or perhaps some Haggis spotting! St Andrews, the home of golf is only 20 mins drive away, and with numerous other quality courses on our doorstep, dont forget to bring the clubs!
We look forward to welcoming our visitors and will host a complimentary BBQ on the Friday evening, after racing on Saturday there will be a Feast in the Clubhouse. In typical Scottish style we will strive to insure that every hour spent at RTYC is indeed a happy hour … a healthy amount of inclusive beers will be on the table for our visitors!
