Bring a Friend Day

25th May, 12:00 - 15:00

The club is having a different take on our Open Day this year.

We're asking all our members to invite a friend, family member or work colleague to sample the various water sports RTYC offers: dinghy sailing, rowing, keel boating, and safety boat driving.

It's a great opportunity to showcase all the benefits of the club to potential members. Being introduced by a friend means new members already have a contact in the club to support them to become active members. The day will also give existing members a chance to try one of the water sports they haven't done before.

The beach clubhouse will offer catering throughout the whole afternoon. We'd love our members to take their guests over to show off the new clubhouse, where you can enjoy comfy seats and a great view, with some BYO, to relax after the activities. To help plan and gather all the required information, can members please ask their guests fill out the Google form below in advance.  This will give them temporary membership for the day.

Please register guests individually via the link below, ideally ask guests to do.

We hope that members can take their guest(s) out on their own vessels, but in order to offer guests (and existing members) a choice of other activities, we will need volunteers to help out on the day. Whether it's to helm Hartleys, drive power boats, take people out rowing, or do a stint in the clubhouse, your help will be crucial to showcasing our vibrant Sailing and Rowing club.
