Osprey Class Scottish Tour 2023

RTYC welcomed the travelling fleet of Ospreys for the final event in their Scottish and Northern tour over the 4th to the 7th May. Despite two grey cold days with a variable north easterly wind and harr, the competition was very hot. 

The club's race team and safety volunteers did a great job with five windward/leeward races sailed. 

Ashore the new clubhouse, beach catering, motorhome hook-ups and the tractor tugs along from Douglas Terrace were all appreciated. There was a reception with former club Osprey sailors to welcome the visiting fleet, but the icing on the cake was the event dinner - the first event of its kind in our new home.
