Safety Support Class

Each racing event at the club will have a class assigned as the Safety Support Class. 

Their role is to help support our volunteers manning the ribs to launch and recover the ribs before and after racing. 

• Help launch ribs and recover trolleys from the water once ribs are launched.
• If the tractor is being used then return the tractor to Ferry Boat House in between racing.   NB - make sure that the roller door is fully raised past the top of the lintel so the tractor doesn't hit it!
• After racing if required get the tractor out of FBH, approved tractor drivers will have the door codes.
• Get trolleys in the water ready to collect ribs with the tractor and help return the ribs to FBH. 

Tractor training is available either via Sandy or Eric.
