Looking to join the RTYC?
The club has a range of courses to take you from beginner to expert, whether you want to join in with the racing or cruise up through the bridges.
Twice weekly social sails to make use of your new skills with Bite-Sized training on several Saturday mornings to build skills. Boats are available for these sessions at a nominal charge so you only need a wetsuit to start with.
And for those who prefer dry land, our social programme offers something for everyone.

CLUB - adult full membership of RTYC - £225 per year
CLUB (JOINT) - two club memberships for spouses or partners residing at the same address - 2nd member active £360 per year

CLUB - young adult aged 18 to 24 - £92 per year
"Club" Membership is for all adults involved with club sports in some way and entitles the member to use of all sports and social facilities. Club members are the Company members of RTYC and as such have full voting powers at general meetings and are the guarantors of the Club's debts to a maximum of £1 each
SOCIAL - use of social facilities only (no voting rights) - £120 per year
SOCIAL (Joint) - Two social memberships for spouses or partners residing at the same address - £192 per year
JUNIORS (under 18s) - £45 or they can be added to an adult Club Membership without charge. However, the Cadet Training Programme is organised by and through the Cadet Officer and is charged separately. To join the cadet programme, please contact our cadet officer at cadets@royaltay.org.
Once your application has been accepted the Membership Secretary will contact you and advise on how to make payment. You can pay in one or spread it by monthly direct debit. We strongly encourage use of use Gocardless for payments. Click here to find out why.
Members joining part-way through the year will pay a pro rata amount. There is no joining fee.
