Royal Tay Yacht Club is one of Scotland's premier water-sports clubs.
The club provides fantastic opportunities for sailing, coastal rowing and power boating.
Dinghy racing takes place on a Tuesday evening and social sailing (recreational sailing with safety cover) on Thursday evening and Saturday morning.
We offer a wide range of RYA courses that will take you from beginner to expert in sailing or power boating.
Our junior section runs every Wednesday evening and accepts junior members aged 10 to 18.
We’ve recently opened a new clubhouse and our facilities are superb, both on and off the water and that means we can offer lots of social opportunities too!
New members are welcome, join today.
We look forward to meeting you and getting you out on the River Tay – it’s a fabulous stretch of water to be on!!

Successful Fifie Friday
Fifie Friday! RTYC rowers had a fantastic morning joining Dundee Rowing & Sailing Club for Fifie Friday on the 28th of February. The weather was great, light winds and brilliant sunshine. A lot of enthusiasts from Fife clubs turned up to row, chat, eat and enjoy the day. It was fun mixing up crews, so lots of discussions on how it felt to row in different skiffs.
